Apprenticeship Path

Guided Study in Yoga Nidra & Internal Yoga

☁︎

A journey for those ready to go beyond simply listening to a Yoga Nidra practice — into understanding, embodying, and living it.

This apprenticeship is a 6-week guided study where you’ll receive curated Yoga Nidra practices, personalized mentorship, and live experiential teachings in the subtle inner arts of Internal Yoga.

Whether you’re seeking deep rest, integration after a life transition, or tools for your own ceremonial or mindfulness work, this path offers both the structure and insight to bring Yoga Nidra alive in every corner of your life.

“To be calm is the highest achievement of the self.”

— Thich Nhat Hanh

What You’ll Experience:

  • Accountability & Support

A set rhythm to ensure you actually practice and reap the full benefits of Yoga Nidra.

  • Weekly 60–75 Minute Mentorship Calls

Unpack your experiences, explore journal reflections, and learn the mechanics of the practices you’ve received.

  • Live Micro-Practices

Subtle breath work, visualizations, and awareness techniques to integrate into daily life, ceremony, or other yoga practices.

  • Applied Study of Internal Yoga

Dive into concepts like shushumna kriya, nadi shodhana, the koshas (subtle body layers), and the living application of “ceremony as life.”

  • Curated Practice Assignments

Each week, you’ll receive 1–3 pre-recorded Yoga Nidra sessions (from a trusted master teacher’s library), intentionally selected to meet your current process and needs.

Why This Path is Different

Most people engage with Yoga Nidra as a momentary rest — a recording to relax to.

In this apprenticeship, you’ll learn how and why it works, deepen your capacity to enter subtle states, and translate your insights into the way you move, relate, and create.

This is not simply about rest — it’s about awakening to the inner rivers of awareness that carry you through all of life.

Frequently asked questions

  • No prior experience is necessary. This path is open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike. If you’re new, you’ll receive extra guidance to help you settle into the practice. If you’re seasoned, you’ll deepen your understanding of internal yoga and refine your ability to navigate subtle states.

  • For this apprenticeship, the weekly practices will come from a master teacher’s pre-recorded library. I will personally select 2–3 practices each week to meet your needs and process. Our live calls will be where we unpack your experience, explore the mechanics of the practice, and engage in shorter, live micro-practices together.

  • Plan for:

    • 1–3 practices per week (30–45 minutes each)

    • 1 live call (60–75 minutes)

    • A few minutes of journaling after each session to record insights.

  • This is not a Yoga Nidra teacher training. However, it will give you a much deeper understanding of the practice, which can enhance how you hold space for others in yoga, ceremony, or other healing arts.

  • Many people listen to Yoga Nidra for relaxation without understanding how it works or how to deepen the experience. In this apprenticeship, you’ll receive:

    • Practices tailored to your current needs

    • Mentorship and accountability

    • A deeper study of the koshas, breath work, and energy pathways

    • Guidance in applying the insights to your life and work

  • You’ll need:

    • A quiet space to lie down or recline comfortably

    • Headphones or speakers for listening to practices

    • A journal or notebook for reflections

Optional extras: a blanket, eye pillow, or cushion for comfort.

  • This path can be especially supportive during times of change, grief, healing, or integration. Yoga Nidra helps regulate the nervous system and offers tools to meet life with greater awareness and presence.

  • This is an online mentorship and can be joined from anywhere in the world. All sessions are conducted via Zoom, and recordings are provided for each live call.

  • You can book a free 30-minute intake call to see if this is the right fit for you.
